Each year, scholarships help thousands of students achieve their educational goals and help families manage the cost of college.
Below are links to several scholarships available to Oklahoma residents. It's also a good idea to contact the financial aid office at the school you plan to attend to investigate any special scholarship programs.

Oklahoma Resident Scholarship Programs
Oklahoma's Promise (external link) – Awarded to students who complete a specific high school curriculum, achieve at least a 2.5 GPA and abide by certain conduct standards. Income restrictions apply and students must enroll in the program during the 8th, 9th or 10th grade.
Academic Scholars Program (external link) – Awarded to students who score in the 99.5 percentile on the ACT or SAT exam and to resident and non-resident National Merit Scholars or Finalists, Presidential Scholars or Institutional Nominees. Students must plan to attend a public or private Oklahoma college.
Chiropractic Education Assistance Scholarship (external link) – Awarded to students pursuing chiropractic study at an accredited out-of-state school.
Future Teachers Scholarship Program (external link) – Awarded to students who want to teach in critical-subject shortage areas.
George and Donna Nigh Public Service Scholarship (external link) – Awarded to outstanding students preparing for careers in public service.
Independent Living Act (Foster Care Tuition Waiver) (external link) – Awarded to eligible individuals who have been or are in the Oklahoma Department of Human Services foster care program.
National Guard Tuition Waiver (external link) – Awarded to national guard members and enlistees who want to earn a bachelor's degree at an Oklahoma public college or university.
Regional University Baccalaureate Scholarship (external link) – Awards based on academic merit to students who plan to attend an Oklahoma regional university.
Robert C. Byrd Scholarship Program (external link) – Awards based on a student's potential for continued academic excellence and achievement.
Scholars for Excellence in Child Care (external link) – Scholarships for eligible child care professionals to earn a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, Certificate of Mastery, Director's Certificate of Completion and/or an associate degree in child development or early childhood education.
